Dear Future Demons and Families,
Welcome to Golden High School—the oldest high school in Colorado and proud Home of the Demons! We’re excited to welcome the Class of 2029. Below, you’ll find information about the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.
📅 Important Dates
- Student Schedule Release: August 12, 3:15 p.m. (via Infinite Campus)
- Back to School Night: August 18, 5 – 7:10 p.m.
- First Day of School (9th Grade Only): August 19, 8:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
🧭 Freshman Orientation – August 19 - This is a required attendance day just for 9th graders.
Schedule:
- School day: 8:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
- Lunch: 12:15 - 12:45 p.m.
- Bus Pick Up: 12:45 p.m.
What to Bring:
- Your class schedule (printed or digital)
- A notebook and a pen or pencil
- A sack lunch, or cash for lunch
- 👉 There’s no official supply list for high school. Just bring the basics for now—your teachers will let you know what you’ll need once classes start.
During orientation, you’ll:
- Join a small group led by upperclassmen
- Tour the campus
- Walk through your schedule
- Meet your teachers
- Get your school photo taken for your ID and yearbook
💻 Chromebook Information
Freshmen will keep their currently assigned Jeffco Chromebook and bring it with them on the first day of school, August 20 (not on orientation day).
Students will exchange their current Chromebook for a new one within the first couple weeks of school.
If you’re a new Jeffco student, you will be issued a new chromebook on Freshman Orientation day.
🖥 Infinite Campus and Annual Household Registration
- Watch for an email from Jeffco in late July or early August prompting you to complete the required annual update. Click here for more detailed instructions.
- Parents/guardians must log into Infinite Campus Parent Portal to review and update contact information, sign agreements and update/confirm student information for the upcoming school year as part of the annual update.

- If you have forgotten your username, password, or the email address associated with your account, please visit https://pam.jeffco.k12.co.us and use the options at the bottom of the login screen.
- Instructions to reset or recover your username/password
- If you do not have a Jeffco Parent Account, use these instructions to set one up.
- New to Jeffco student login (after August 1) = student ID; default password = birthdate (MMDDYYYY).

📘 Schedules & Counselors
- Student schedules will be available on Infinite Campus starting August 12 at 3:15 PM
- Questions or schedule concerns? Starting August 5, students can email Mr. Rory Best at rbest@jeffcoschools.us for help.
🎓AP & Honors Course Info
If you signed up for AP/Honors classes during registration, they’ll be included in your schedule.
- Summer assignments will be emailed to you and posted on the GHS homepage.
- No schedule changes will be allowed for AP/Honors courses you requested.
📚 Taking AP Human Geography?
Don’t miss the AP Boot Camp on August 18, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
All the details are on the GHS website, and both students and parents will get a separate email with everything you need to know.

If you requested any of the AP/Honors courses listed below, you will be scheduled into the course. Please review and complete the summer assignments before the first day of school, August 20, 2025.
Important Reminders:

Incomplete or missing summer assignments will not be accepted as a reason to drop a course.

When you registered for an AP/Honors course, you signed an agreement stating that schedule changes would not be allowed.
