Enrollment Process

2020-2021 Enrollment

New students enrollment and registration will begin July 27, 2020. Counselors will return from summer break on August 5. Please email the registrar to set up an appointment for enrollment and registration. 

If you're currently enrolled at another Jeffco high school and would like to choice enroll at Golden, please go to www.EnrollJeffco.org to fill out a choice enrollment application. Once applied, your student's name will be put on a waiting list. If accepted, you will be notified by email by the end of August. 

If you are new to Golden High School and Jeffco Public Schools:

  • Set up an account on JeffcoConnect.
  • Enter student information for each student you need to enroll in Jeffco.
  • After you have entered all of your student information, hit "Submit".
  • Send an email to the registrar, lyhnguye@jeffcoschools.us, to set up an appointment to enroll. Please do not come to the school without an appointment.
  • Bring the following documents to enroll your student:
    1. Original birth certificate
    2. Current immunization records
    3. Two proofs of residency with parent's name on the proofs (deed or lease agreement, utility bills, driver's license does not count as proof of residency)
    4. Parent's photo ID
    5. Custody or Guardianship papers (if applicable)
    6. Copy of latest report card (incoming 9th grade) or transcript (incoming 10th, 11th, and 12th grade)
    7. Copy of IEP, or 504, if applicable*
    • *If your student has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for special education:

    • Bring the IEP with you when you enroll. We cannot enroll your student without an IEP.
    • We will set up an appointment with a special ed teacher and a counselor to determine class schedule.
    • If you are returning to Jeffco Public Schools:

    • Do Not set up an account on JeffcoConnect.
    • Log into JeffcoConnect to update your existing account with any changes in address or contact.
    • If you do not remember your user name and/or password, please call the registrar, at 303-982-4163.
    • Once you have updated your account, send an email to the registrar to set up an appointment to re-enroll. Please do not come to the school without an appointment.
    • Bring the same documents as above to re-enroll your student.
