Graduation
Graduation from high school is an important milestone in the lives of students and their families. The graduation ceremony is a dignified occasion. Courteous and considerate behavior will allow everyone in attendance to recognize the achievement of each graduate and ensure this is a ceremony that all will treasure as a memorable event.
Golden High School’s Class of 2025 graduation ceremony will be held at 9:00a.m. on May 16, 2025, at Colorado School of Mines’ Marv Kay Stadium.

- August 13, College Planning Night, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

- September 5, Jostens distribute graduation packets during Demon Academy
- September 9 & 10, Jostens at GHS during lunch to collect cap and gown and announcement orders

Senior To-Dos
Caps and gowns
Caps and gowns are ordered directly through Jostens. Caps and gowns will be delivered to Golden High School. Seniors will pick up their caps and gowns on May 15.
Chromebook return
As a part of Jeffco Public Schools 1:1 technology initiative, all seniors have a district-issued and owned Chromebook. Seniors will be responsible for returning their Jeffco-owned Chromebook, along with the charger, in May.
Students will turn in their devices to the library at Golden High School. Chromebooks that are no longer needed can be returned the first week of May. Students will return Chromebooks as part of the school senior checkout sheet to be turned in to get their cap and gown.

Download Google files
Google Takeout exports students’ data from their school Google account to a zip file to be downloaded to an external hard drive or USB flash drive.
Graduation Information
Tickets
Tickets to graduation for family and friends are not required If the ceremony can be held at Mines’ stadium. Graduates can have as many guests as they want.
However, if there is inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the GHS gymnasium, limiting the number of guests to two per graduate. This decision will be made by the administration one to two days before the ceremony.
Livestream
The ceremony will be livestreamed. A link will be posted the week of graduation.
Parking
Primary parking @ 1400 Maple, multi level parking garage. No parking on side streets or permitted residential area.
