Community Partners
Many area businesses have either partnered with Golden High School to provide continuous support or have donated to the GHS Parent Teacher Association in the last year.
These partnerships provide continuous support when you buy:
- Community Driving School
- King Soopers
Community Driving School
For every 10 students from Golden High School who enroll at Community Driving School for the 30-hour in-person standard package or the 30-hour online class package (self-paced), Community Driving School will send the Golden PTA a check for $250.
Note: If we can get 10 students to the spring break in-person class, Community Driving School will send an additional $250 check to the PTA. The class will be held at the Lakewood location.

The two standard packages (live or online) offered at Community Driving School include all DMV requirements needed to obtain a driver’s license at 16 years of age.
Students can start the driver's ed course at 14 years, 6 months of age and take the permit test at 14 and 11 months. They can then apply for their instructional permit on their 15th birthday or after.
