The PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test and National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) will be held at Golden High School on Saturday, October 13th, 7:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

The PSAT/NMSQT has two purposes:
#1 it is practice for students who plan to take the SAT.
#2  for Juniors only, it is used to select students seeking National Merit Scholarships which are awarded spring term of the senior year. Read more about PSAT NMSQT scholarships and recognition here.

Keep in mind that the required Colorado state tests administered in April 2019 are: PSAT 8/9 for 9th grade students, PSAT-10 for 10th grade students, and SAT for 11th grade students.

Registration will remain open until all we run out of tests or September 28th. To register see Savannah Ortiz in the Financial Office to pay the $21 test fee. There are a limited number of fee waivers available to students in 11th grade only-see Sarah Julias in the Counseling Office for information.

Student rosters with classroom assignments will be posted at the school, the morning of the test. Students must bring a picture ID, a calculator, and a few wooden #2-pencils.
